THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT IS ENTRUSTED WITH PRINCIPAL DUTIES TO HEAR APPEALS TO DECISIONS OF THE CENTRAL PLANNING BOARD OR PLANNING & ZONING STAFF, TO GRANT VARIANCES FROM THE STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND TO RULE ON ‘USE’ APPLICATIONS
