The Committee received and filed the 2024 City Budget presentations from two departments:
- Human Resources (Proposed budget: $11,634,636)
- The budget increase request would support eight more FTEs.
- HR experienced a 42% turnover in 2022 “due to salary and workload.” Staff said the increased budget would give them more capacity to improve retention in HR and across the city enterprise.
- Information Technology (Proposed budget: $49,297,977)
- The department currently has 98 FTEs and is looking to add one more.
