  • Postponed a vote on a proposed ordinance amendment mandating landlord disclosure of rental tier, prior and current violations, and other property history.
  • Approved a staff direction for the City Auditor’s Office to research a housing first model policy, and a legislative directive to study a tiered fee structure for Transportation Network Companies of different sizes.
  • Accepted withdrawal of Chase Bank’s appeal related to the denial of variances for a new one-story commercial building at 2941 26th Ave. In their withdrawal letter, Chase Bank wrote that they are seeking a new location.
  • Received a presentation regarding a benchmark analysis on safe outdoor spaces for homeless individuals. The report might be a preliminary initiative toward a policy establishing outdoor safe spaces policy in Minneapolis. A subsequent second stage of the report is expected in the near future.
