• Approved receiving a total of nearly $27 million in grants from the Minnesota Department of Human Services for adult mental health services.
• Approved receiving a $2 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for housing development
• Approved spending $120 million for the design and construction of a new Hennepin Health Services parking ramp with 1,000 parking stalls.
• Approved four labor agreements with various unions, including electrical workers and detention deputies
• Appointed 28 individuals to fill eight community advisory board vacancies.
• Received a presentation by the Hennepin Healthcare Cardiac Rehabilitation team in commemoration of February as the Heart Health Month in Hennepin County.
• Received an update on the women’s heart health initiative, including partnerships with community clinics, support groups, and a media campaign targeting Black, African American, and Indigenous women.
