Meeting as committees, board members:

• Approved the acceptance of a $2 million Healthy Homes Production grant to repair health and safety hazards in 145 homes.
• Approved an agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ) for almost $600,000 in criminal justice funding on behalf of five cities.
• Approved two variance requests with MnDOT State Aid Operations to reduce lane width on Nicollet Avenue in Bloomington and Lowry Avenue in Minneapolis from 11 feet to 10 feet as part of safety improvements.
• Approved seven grants, totaling $2.1 million, through the Environmental Response Fund Fall 2024 process.
• Approved three joint agreements with cities and the Metropolitan Airports Commission to provide embedded social workers with police departments.
• Approved an agreement with Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) for mental health mobile crisis response totalling almost $3 million.
• Approved an agreement with DHS for almost $26 million through a Mental Health Innovations grant.
