The Indianapolis Historic Preservation Committee (IHPC) was created to preserve historically significant areas and structures for residents in Marion County. They are responsible for local designation and helping restore historic neighborhoods and buildings. They also provide design and zoning review and approval for locally designated historic districts, conservation areas, and individually designated properties.
Commission members include:
