Postponed a vote on proposed amendments to the city ordinances regarding standards for exterior building materials. The change would permit brick, concrete, glass, and stone masonry on all parts of the building. Fiber cement, metal panels, stucco, and wood would not be permitted at the base, except for missing middle buildings. The use of CMU (Concrete Masonry Units) and synthetic materials, like EIFS (Exterior Finishing Insulation System) and vinyl, would be limited to certain parts of the building in all cases.
