The Commission approved:
- Site plan review for a new six-story, mixed-use building with 5,200 square feet of office space and 32 residential units located at 2415 Emerson Ave S, with additional condition of approval “no blank wall in excess of 25 feet.”
- Site plan review for an expansion of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center at 2300 15th Ave S. They will add 10 more residential units and add a ~2,500-square-foot building addition. The site has a variance to go from three floors to four.
- Three variances for a new building being constructed to replace one that was burned down in May 2020. The new building at 102 Lake Street East will house Atlas Staffing, and received variances to be a single-story building and have six vehicle stalls rather than three.
- Requests to add a 43-space parking lot on the lots adjacent to the 927 building which is being repurposed as a business hub with a focus on Black entrepreneurs.
- Final plat for 560 Humboldt Ave N (previously known as 465 Girard Terrace), a planned apartment & commercial space in Harrison.
- Returning requests for 860 28th St E, 2717 Longfellow Ave, and 1901 26th St E, as they were withdrawn by the applicant.
