@YouTube @GCRTA is a political subdivision of the state. Its Board of Trustees is charged with managing & conducting RTA's affairs.🚍 The board also establishes overall RTA administrative policies, which are implemented by the General Manager. It is the decision-making body of GCRTA.

@YouTube @GCRTA The meeting began with a Special RTA Board of Trustees Meeting. Followed by smaller committee meetings. Different members of the board make up smaller committees. Those committees discussed their business & decided whether to move proposals to the full board for consideration.

@YouTube @GCRTA The Special RTA Board of Trustees Meeting lasted 5 minutes & considered 2 resolutions that were read & passed: -Contract authorizing the vendors for state level advocacy services. -Contract for Light Rail Retaining Wall Repair on the Blue Line near Lee Rd & Van Aken Blvd. 🚎

@YouTube @GCRTA RTA External & Stakeholder Relations & Advocacy Committee Meeting 9:08am - 9:22am The partnership with @GlobalCleveland on a Talent Acquisition Initiative to enhance the talent pipeline for foreign born populations was discussed. #WorkplaceInclusion

@YouTube @GCRTA @GlobalCleveland @CityofCleveland RTA Organizational, Services & Performance Monitoring Committee 9:22am-10:08am There were 3 presentations given on procurements for automation software, waste services & a driver monitoring system. All were approved and added to the full agenda for the next board meeting.

It records video during accidents, incidents, & high-risk occurrences. This is critical for incident analysis & operator performance reviews. It is deployed across 400 vehicles- Bus & Paratransit.

All were approved for the next board meeting.

Motion to move to full board was approved. 👍🏾 *There was a recess for Executive Session Meeting 11:09-11:21am*

Motion to move to full board was approved. -The internal audit report presentation for 3rd Quarter 2024 was removed from agenda.
