The City of Cincinnati’s Budget and Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the budget process, which includes: -Engaging with the community to gather feedback on the proposed budget.
-Hosting public hearings to receive input on the Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Biennial Operating and Capital Budget.
-Meeting weekly to amend and approve the city’s budget, which is crucial for the city’s financial planning.
-Addressing challenges such as projected deficits and the need for additional funding to balance the budget.
