About me

Immigrant community engagement, access to quality education, and women's empowerment are topics that I hold close to my heart. Identifying as Latino/a myself, I understand what it's like to have cultural and language barriers that impede potential advancement opportunities within the community. I also believe education is power; the more our community knows, the more they can think, do, and believe for better. Last, but not least, women's empowerment is something that I live and breathe on the day-to-day. As Director of a women's care center, I encounter women from all walks of life who need wholistic support: physically, mentally, and spiritually.
