About me
Journalism began for Dominique in 1998 when he served as the editor-in-chief of the now-defunct Teen Flava Magazine. Although Teen Flava was short-lived, Dominique continued his media journey in college at Georgia State University, starting in March 2001 as a reporter for East Point Neighbors. This publication was notable as it was the first e-zine for South Fulton County and South Atlanta at the time.
In August 2001, he became a news reporter for the Signal-Urbanite Newspapers, eventually advancing to the positions of Associate Perspectives Editor, Managing Editor, and Editor-in-Chief. After his tenure at Signal-Urbanite, he transitioned back into city media with the Story Atlanta Newspapers (Intown and Buckhead) in the fall of 2006, while still completing his final years at Signal until the fall of 2007.
Dominique became a media entrepreneur in April 2007 when he co-founded the Exceptional Radio Network, which became part of his media company, WRCG Media (formerly Tenth Amendment Media Group), in November 2008. WRCG Media is the parent company of Dominique Magazine (which focuses on men's news, lifestyle, and culture), South7585News (formerly Home Rule News, covering Atlanta Aerotropolis news), and We The People Talk (formerly the Dominique Huff Episodes).
Dominique strongly believes in the public's right to know about the neighborhoods he covers, as government actions directly impact the people. He takes his role as a journalist in the fourth estate of government very seriously, as he believes that the public deserves this accountability.
