My name is Sonal Soni (they/them), and I'm a South Asian reporter based in Chicago. I cover topics related to social justice including issues affecting communites of color, queer indivuals and more. My work has been published in Chicago-area publications including WBEZ, the Chicago Reader and the Harvey World Herald. I'm happy to be a documenter and work towards increasing transparency between the city and its residents.
